Leaving Certificate Programme

The school offers the subjects listed below to students in the Leaving Certificate Programme. All students are required to take Gaeilge, English and Mathematics and then four other subjects from a list of available subjects. The choice bands will vary from year to year depending on student demands while trying to meet the needs of the majority of students. All subjects may not be offered in a given year.  

 All students are required to take two classes a week of Religion / Christian Doctrine. The L.C.V.P. program is offered subject to uptake each year. The list is subjects may change from time to time. Students with a recognised exemption may be exempted from the study of Gaeilge,  subject to the approval of the Department of Education & Skills.

Computer Room

The Principal allocates students to classes.  Subject to sufficient demand and resources, the Board of Management reserves the right to determine on an annual basis the range and level of subjects, including the minimum number of students to justify the offering of a particular subject class.
 
Students who are absent from internal examinations may be required to sit such examinations at an alternative time, before proceeding with their course.
