The annual musical is the icing to the Transition Year cake for both St. Munchin’s College and Ardscoil Mhuire. Not only that, it is a must on the calendar for the whole school community.
For many years it has provided an important opportunity for students of both schools to display their various talents. From singing, acting and dancing to construction, lighting and graphic design. Added to this, students gain valuable insights into the importance of team - work, effective communication and responsibility.
For many years the musical has been held in the main hall at St. Munchin’s. However last year we made a move to the Millennium Theatre in the Limerick Institute of Technology. By common consensus an inspired move indeed.
The production for 2012 will be- “Guys and Dolls”.
