Past Pupils Union

Dear Past Pupil,

Re: Relaunching of the Past Pupils Union (PPU) of St Munchin’s College

Following the very successful Reunion to honour our first ever win in the Munster Schools Rugby Senior Cup in 1968, which took place in late October, a lot of people expressed the idea of relaunching the Past Pupils Union (PPU).

With this in mind, it was agreed that the ’68 captain, John Moloney, would be the incoming President for the newly relaunched PPU.

The organising committee of the ’68 Reunion now want to call a meeting of as many past pupils as possible to officially relaunch the PPU and elect a number of officers (Chairman, Secretary  & Treasurer).

Therefore, we would like to invite you, if you are one of our past pupils, to attend the PPU Relaunch Meeting which will take place in St. Munchin’s College on Monday 28th January at 7.30pm. As this is the first meeting, it is important that as many Past Pupils as possible attend and if possible bring another past pupil with you. It will also give us here in the school the chance to show you the newly refurbished College if you have not already done so.

Please indicate by return email if you are in a position to attend or not (dquilter@stmunchinscollege.ie).  Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you can spread to word to as many past pupils as possible that this meeting is taking place on the 28th. This will in turn allow us to build a comprehensive bank of emails so that the College can send you updates of events and activities presently taking place in the school.

Kindest regards,

David Quilter

Principal
