The talent show was started in 2006 and is held every year in the Assembly hall in the school. It encompasses a wide range of talent from students in the first year to sixth year age group. Bands, solo singing, multiple instrumentals, comic relief, contortionists, jugglers are among some of the repertoire of talents on display on the night.
Mr. David O’ Connell, Principal of the Limerick Municipal School of Music plays the part of Simon Cowell for the night acting as chairman of the judging panel.
A Perpetual Trophy is donated to the winner. The trophy was kindly donated by Kenneally Jewellery Shop, Wickham St., Limerick City.
The night generates huge excitement and enthusiasm every year within the school and every year hosts a full house with many being turned away at the door.
